I l u AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECT- ING THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE HERETOFORE US- ED FOR PARK PURPOSES Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana. SECTION 1. That, WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, is the owner of the following described real estate, situate in St. Joseph County, Indiana., A parcel of land not over 200100 -feet in width in the City of South Bend, St, Joseph County, Indiana, lying between the west boundary line of Kreighbaum Park, so called, and the West line of an alley paralleling and being distant Westerly at right angles 166.20 feet from the Westerly line of Lincoln Way East, so called, said parcel of land being measured not to exceed 100.00 feet at right angles from each side of a center line described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Westerly line of Lincoln Way East so called, which is distant Northerly 22.35 feet from the Southeast corner of Lot K of Wenger and Kreightbaum Vistula Avenue Addition; thence Westerly along a tangent line, mak ing a Northwesterly angle of 89 -26t-00" with aforesaid Westerly - line of Lincoln Way ast, a distance of 3.56 feet to the point the right; thence wester- ly of 6°-001-00" curve to he r gh of beginning ly around said 6U-00*-00" curve to its intersection with above mentioned West alley line, said point of intersection being • the true point of beginning; thence continuing Westerly around aforesaid 6°-00t-00" curve to a point on the above mentioned Westerly line of Kreighbaum Park, which is distant Northerly 122.27 feet from. the intersection of said-Westerly line with above mentioned tangent line. Said tangent line intersects the center line of the New York Central Railroad Companyts westbound main track 497.12 feet Easterly from the center line of High Street. I Excepting therefrom an irregular shaped parcel of land F described as beginning on the above described West alley line and being distant Northerly 26.2 feet from the intersection of the tangent of above described 6°-00"-00* curve with the afore- said West alley line; thence Westerly along a straight course at right angles to above described West alley line, a distance of 75.00 feet to a point; thence Southerly long a straight . course, making a Southeasterly angle of 102 -Olt-00" with last described course, a distance of 95.5 feet to a point; thence Easterly around a 5°-26*-00" curve to the left to a point on aforementioned West alley line and which is distant Southerly 113.8 feet `from the above described point of beginning; thence Northerly along aforesaid West alley line a distance of 115.8 feet to the point of beginning.
