SECTION 3. That the definition of "Parking" as stated in Section 1 under the heading "Definitions" in said Ordinance Number 2653 be amended to read as follows, to-wit: "Parking" shall mean the standing of a vehicle otherwise than temporarily for the purpose of loading 0)) aNi. unloading persons or materials, or in obedience of traffic regulations or traffic signs or signals. " SECTION 4. That Section 2 of Ordinance Number 2707, which re-enacted Subdivision "i" of Section 5 of Ordinance Number 2653 and related to double parking, is hereby repealed. SECTION 5. That Section 21 of Ordinance Number 2653 be and the same is hereby amended by adding to said Section 21 as another additional provision thereof, the following, to-wit: "The Board of Safety is hereby authorized to make and . enforce temporary regulations to cover emergencies, additional and special conditions until such time as the Council by Or- dinance shall provide or alter such emergency or additional regulations; provided, however, that proper marking or signs fle.CC) designate such emergency and additional regulations. " SECTION 6.. That all other provisions of said Ordinance Number 2653 and the amendments thereto including penalties; save and except as modified by this ordinance, shall remain in full force and effect.
