SECTION 3. <br /> That the definition of "Parking" as stated in Section <br /> 1 under the heading "Definitions" in said Ordinance Number 2653 <br /> be amended to read as follows, to-wit: <br /> "Parking" shall mean the standing of a vehicle <br /> otherwise than temporarily for the purpose of loading 0)) <br /> aNi. unloading persons or materials, or in obedience of <br /> traffic regulations or traffic signs or signals. " <br /> SECTION 4. <br /> That Section 2 of Ordinance Number 2707, which re-enacted <br /> Subdivision "i" of Section 5 of Ordinance Number 2653 and related to <br /> double parking, is hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 5. <br /> That Section 21 of Ordinance Number 2653 be and the same <br /> is hereby amended by adding to said Section 21 as another additional <br /> provision thereof, the following, to-wit: <br /> "The Board of Safety is hereby authorized to make and . <br /> enforce temporary regulations to cover emergencies, additional <br /> and special conditions until such time as the Council by Or- <br /> dinance shall provide or alter such emergency or additional <br /> regulations; provided, however, that proper marking or signs fle.CC) <br /> designate such emergency and additional regulations. " <br /> SECTION 6.. <br /> That all other provisions of said Ordinance Number 2653 <br /> and the amendments thereto including penalties; save and except as <br /> modified by this ordinance, shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> SECTION 7. <br /> That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br /> and after its passage and legal publication. <br /> MEMBER OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br /> 36y. <br /> 2. <br />
