public parks in cities of the first class, defining its powers and duties, creating a taxing district for park purposes in each city of the first class, repealing conflicting laws, and declaring I an emergency" approved March 14, 1919, and acts amendatory there- of or supplemental thereto, be, and the same is hereby adopted to govern the department of public parks in the City of South Bend, State of Indiana, and it is hereby ordained and declared that the said department of public parks shall hereafter in all respects have the powers and be governed by the provisions contained in the aforesaid sections of said act as fully as if the same were set out verbatim in this ordinance as authorized by enrolled Act No. 176 passed at the Seventy-sixth Regular Session of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana and entitled "An Act authorizing cities of the second class to adopt an act entitled 'An Act concerning the department of public parks in cities of the first class, powers its owers and duties, creating a taxing district for park purposes in each city of the first class, re- pealing conflicting laws, and declaring an emergency' , approved March 14, 1919 , and acts amendatory thereof or supplemental there- ff' to , and declaring an emergency, " approved March 16 , 1929.
