AN ORDWANCL )OW' <br />7&.s_ <br />Providing for the establishing of a Dog Pound and for the <br />ion of dogs, bitohes,and other animals of the canine <br />les ;for the inoculation of such dogs with an approved and <br />ized anti - rabies serum; prohibiting all dogs from running• <br />t large in the city of south Bend,Indiana,unless so inoculated: <br />muzzled;providingineans for identifying dogs so registered <br />inoculated;providing that dogs so inoculated may under ow - <br />a conditions run at large;providing that any dog running at <br />ge and not so inoculated and properly tagged or muzzled mW <br />impounded;providing for the destruction or sale of all dogs <br />upon faFlure of the oum er to redeem the same;and: <br />appropriating Twenty -five Hundred Dollars ($2500) from the <br />General Fund of the City of South Bend and the Board of Publie <br />safety for the salary of a Dog Pound Master,and for the equip- <br />ment and operation of said pound;and providing a penalty forthe <br />violation of this ordinance and repealing all ordinances in <br />conflict herewith. <br />1 <br />
