,9 t. <br />ORDINANCE N0. o� 47'V_6 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE 2653 as <br />AMENDED BY SECTION ONE OF ORDINANCE 2666. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the:City of <br />South Bend, Indiana: <br />Section 1 <br />That Section 5 of Ordinance '253 adopted by the Common <br />Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, the q a- day of Z <br />19 =, and Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2666, amending Section 5 of <br />said Ordinance No. `.2653, be amended to read as follows: <br />No parking, or standing, of vehicles on any <br />street shall be permitted at any time in the following <br />locations, except in cases of emergency or delays in <br />traffic movement, or by the direction of an officer or <br />automatic signal. <br />a. Within the boundaries of a street inter- <br />section, except when waiting to make a <br />left turn -- where left turns are permitted. <br />b. Not less than 10 feet from the extension <br />of a property line at a street intersection. <br />c. Between an established safety zone and the <br />adjacent curb or within 25 feet of the rear <br />of such zone. <br />d. Across the entranceway of any court alley <br />or driveway, or within 5 feet of either <br />line thereof. <br />e. In any alley, or in any court within the <br />City of South Bend, longer than is necessary <br />to continuously load or unload materials or <br />passengers. <br />f. Within 5 feet of a fire hydrant. (AQ -yea <br />by 032di- n91; Fe --Iio 2F66, ) <br />g. Within 15 feet of any entrance to a fire <br />station. <br />h. With the right front and right rear wheels <br />more than one foot from the curb, where <br />parallel parking only is permitted, or <br />closer than four feet to other vehicles <br />parked parallel. <br />-1- <br />
