<br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS TWO (2),
<br />MORE OR LESS 2015 OR NEWER ALL -WHEEL DRIVE SUV POLICE PATROL
<br />VEHICLES (POLICE CAPITAL LEASE PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST)
<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Jeff Hudak, Central Services, requested permission to
<br />advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referenced vehicles. Therefore, upon a motion
<br />made by Mr. Relos, seconded by Ms. Maradik and carried, the above request was approved.

<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Jeff Hudak, Central Services, requested permission to
<br />advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referenced equipment. Therefore, upon a motion
<br />made by Mr. Relos, seconded by Ms. Maradik and carried, the above request was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO REJECT BIDS AND RE- ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT
<br />OF BIDS — ONE OR MORE 2015 OR NEWER 3 %2 TON UTILITY TRUCK WITH CRANE
<br />WATER WORKS CAPITAL)
<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Jeffrey Hudak, Central Services, requested permission to
<br />reject all bids for the above equipment due to none of the bidders able to meet the delivery
<br />requirements. Mr. Hudak requested the Board approve his request to re- advertise for the receipt
<br />of bids for the vehicle. Therefore, upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Relos
<br />and carried, the above request was approved.
<br />TABLE REQUEST TO REJECT BIDS AND RE- ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS
<br />— 2015 PARKING GARAGE DECK COATINGS — PROJECT NO. 115 -074 PARKING
<br />GARAGEFUNDI
<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Ms. Blair Bennett, Engineering, requested permission to reject
<br />all bids opened on July 23, 2015, for the above project due to all of the bids received being over
<br />the budget. Mr. Corbitt Kerr, Engineering, informed the Board that they are asking the rejection
<br />of bids be tabled at this time until budget issues can be reviewed. Therefore, upon a motion made
<br />by Mr. Relos, seconded by Ms. Maradik and carried, the above request was tabled.
<br />TABLE ADOPT REVISED PREVAILING SPECIFICATIONS AND DESIGN AND
<br />CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS
<br />Mr. Corbitt Kerr, Engineering, requested the Board table this at this time due to the delay of the
<br />opening of bids for the 2015 Utility Cuts. Therefore, upon a motion by Mr. Gilot, seconded by
<br />Mr. Relos and carried, the Board tabled the request.
<br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 38 -2015 — A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
<br />INDIANA BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR THE DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
<br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Relos and carried, the following
<br />Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Works:
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 38 -2015
<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
<br />ON DISPOSAL OF UNFIT AND /OR OBSOLETE PROPERTY
<br />FIREFIGHTER FIRE HELMET AND BOOTS
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36 -9 -6 -1 et. seq., the Board of Public Works ('Board ") has
<br />the duty and authority to have custody, control, use, and to dispose of real and personal property
<br />owned by the City of South Bend, Indiana; and
<br />WHEREAS, IC 5- 22 -22 -6 permits and establishes the procedure for disposal of personal
<br />property which is no longer needed by the City and which is unfit for the purpose for which it
<br />was intended; and
<br />WHEREAS, on July 1, 2015, Firefighter James Burkus retired from the South Bend,
<br />Indiana, Fire Department after thirty -seven plus (37 +) years of service, and the Board of Public
<br />Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana has determined that he has retired in good standing;
