REGULAR MEETING JUNE 9, 2015 192 QUOTATION: $8,750.00 Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Relos and carried, the above Quotations were referred to Engineering for review and recommendation. After review, Mr. Toy Villa, Engineering, recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, L.L. Geans Construction Co., 1905 Elder Rd., Mishawaka, Indiana 46545, in the amount of $2,900.00. Therefore, Ms. Maradik made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Relos seconded the motion, which carried. OPENING OF PROPOSALS — SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOLS - LINCOLN PRIMARY CENTER AND PERLEY PRIMARY CENTER (PROJECT NOS. 114-078 AND 114-079) Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed Proposals for the above referenced projects. Mr. Gilot stated [be proposals will be reviewed and scored based on a matrix system, with the cost only a part of the basis for award. Lafayette Blvd. South Bend, IN 46601 THE TROYER GROUP 550 Union St. Mishawaka, IN 46544 Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms. Maradik and carried, the above proposals were referred to Engineering and INDOT for review and recommendation. PRINCIPAL & INTEREST) Mr. Jeffrey Hudak, Central Services, advised the Board that on March 24, 2015, bids were received and opened for the above referenced vehicles. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Hudak recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder Gates Chevy World, 636 West McKinley Avenue, Mishawaka, Indiana 46545 in the unit price — amount of $39,677.00 for the base bid plus Options 2 and 3. AWARD BID — HOTEL LASALLE RENOVATIONS — PROJECT NO 115 033F (RWDA TIE) Mr. Michael Carey, Engineering, advised the Board that on May 12, 2015, bids were received and opened for the above referenced project.
