4. <br />Section 56 That Section 28 of Ordinance 2682 be amended <br />to read as follows: <br />"(a) The use of unclean, rusty or open seamed cans, or <br />cans with loose fittings or punctured covers is forbidden. <br />(b) No person shall place or permit to be placed in <br />any bottle, can, utensil, vessel or other receptacle used in the <br />production and distribution of milk or in any vehicle used in <br />the delivery of milk, any offal, swill, oil, garbage or other <br />offensive material. <br />(c) No person shall return any milk can or bottle which <br />has contained any offal, swill, oil garbage, or other offen- <br />sive material or is in any unclean or offensive condition. <br />(d) Yi.lk cans and milk bottles, either empty or filled, <br />being delivered to, or to be picked up from, bakeries, delica- <br />tessen stores, restaurants, groceries, milk depots or other <br />similar places, shall not be allowed to stand upon the side- <br />walk or street." <br />Section 6. That Section 42 of Ordinance 2682 be amended <br />to read as follows: "The Board of Health shall appoint quali- <br />fied persons as milk inspectors who shall hold office at their <br />pleasure. They shall receive such compensation as may be fixed <br />by the Board ofHealth, the same to be paid out of the annual <br />Board of Health appropriation. They shall be the Board of <br />Health's representatives in all matters pertaining to milk <br />and dairy inspection and they shall perform such duties and <br />shall have such powers and authority in making of inspections <br />under this ordinance as may from time to time be prescribed <br />by the Board of Health." <br />Section 7. If any section or provision of this ordinance <br />shall be construed or held as void, it shall not affect the <br />
