11. Care of the Hair Cloth. No hair cloth shall be placed <br />around the neck of any customer unless the same is <br />placed over a clean fresh laundered towel, sanitary <br />cloth or other material, and such towel, sanitary cloth <br />or other material used shall not be used:on any other <br />person. <br />12. Shaving Brushes, Hair Brushes and Combs shall be washed <br />thoroughly with hot water immediately after each use <br />of same. After each service of a customer, and the comb <br />used shall be placed in a liquid disinfectant and a <br />clean comb used on each customer. <br />13. All Razors, Needles, Shears and other analogous equip- <br />ment shall be sterilized by immersion in formaldehyde <br />of at least forty per cent strength, or any bona fide <br />sterilizer after each separate use. <br />14. No Alum or Other Astringent shall be used in stick <br />form. If used to stop the flow of blood, it must be <br />applied in the form of a powder or liquid form only. <br />15. The use of powder puffs, powder brushes and sponges <br />is prohibited. <br />16. Sleeping In Shop Prohibited. No Barber Shop shall <br />be used as sleeping quarters. <br />17: No Blings Shall be.Drawn or public view obstructed <br />at any time. <br />18. All Barber Shops shall remain closed on Sundays and <br />the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, <br />July 4th., Labor Day Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas <br />Day. In cases of holidays falling on Sunday, Barber <br />Shops shall be kept closed on the following Monday/ <br />SECTION SEMEN. REVOCATION OF LICENSE - OR CLOSING OF <br />BARBER SHOP. If at any time the Health Director deems it nec- <br />essary to order a Barber Shop closed or a license revoked for <br />conviction of crime, habitual drunkenness gross incompetency, <br />or failing to comply with the sanitary rues, he shall so order <br />the shop closed or licens a revoked until such time as the Health <br />Director shall declare the shop or barber fit for the continuance <br />of business. If, however, a shop is closed for lack of sani- <br />tation and is not declared fit for the continuance of business <br />within (5) days the Health Director shall declare the shop in <br />question closed for all times against the present management and <br />the manager's license permanently revoked. <br />SECTION EIGHT. PENALTY. Any person violating any of the <br />provisions of this Ordianane shall upon conviction thereof be <br />fined not less than$10.00 nor not more then $100.00 for each <br />offense; and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each <br />day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. <br />SECTION NINE. INVALIDITY. The invalidity of any section <br />part of a section of this ordinance shall not effect the val- <br />ty of the remainder of said section or the remainder of this <br />inance. <br />
