Section 36: Enforcement„ It shall be the duty of the Chief <br />Plumbing Inspector, on receipt of knowledge that any part of this Ord. <br />insnee has been violated, to go before the City Judge of the City of <br />South Bend and cause the arrest and prosecution of all persons whom he <br />has reason to believe are guilty of such violation. <br />Section 37 durisdiotion placed with Board of Health* 911 matters <br />concerning plumbing and building drainage, water supply and gas piping <br />In connection therewith and concerning the appointment of a Plumbing <br />Inspector and deputy inspectors and the appointment of an Examining Board <br />is hereby placed under the jurisdiction of the Board of Public Health <br />Of the City of South Bend* <br />Section 58: Tie Board of Health of the City of South Bend are hereby <br />empowered to revoke the license of eny employing plumber or journeymen <br />plumber where the provisions of this Ordinance have been violated upon <br />charges brought by the Chief Plumbing Ispector, after a hearing before <br />the Board of Health <br />Section 40; No licensed employing plumber or journeyman plumber <br />shall sot as agent for any employing plumber or journeyman plumber who <br />has not obtained a license from the Examining board of Plumbers, <br />Section 41: Hot and cold water required. 911 bars and fountains <br />and other places where food and drink, or either, are served generally to <br />the public for consumption, shall have a oonstant supply of both hot and <br />cold water during all business hours. This supply shall be run through <br />all bar fixtures, soda fountains or any other places in said business <br />oonoernh where dishes, silverware# or glassware or cooking or other <br />utensils are cleaned. <br />Section 42; Definitions of Termst In this Ordinance the term "main; <br />soil pipe" is applied to any pipe above the basement floor connection to <br />the house drain receiving the discharge of one or more water closets, <br />with or without other fixtures, and extending through and above the roof* <br />The term "Branch soil pipe„ is applied to any pipe receiving the <br />discharge from one or more water- olosets and with or without other fix- <br />tures and leading towards and connecting with the main soil pipe, but <br />not necessarily extending through the roof. <br />
