This agreement entered into this 17th day, of June, 1940, by <br />and between the City of South Bend by and thru its Board of Public <br />Safety, hereinafter referred to as the "City ", and the Municipal <br />Supply,Co«., of South Bend, Indiana, hereinafter referred to as <br />the "Contractor %. <br />WITNESSETH: Whereas the City has adopted a resolution for the <br />purchase of one street sweeper and has adopted specifications for <br />said street sweeper and received bids thereon, and thi: Municipal <br />Supply Coo, having been the lowest and bast bid for said equipment, <br />it is now agreed by and between the parties hereto, that the <br />"Contractor" will furni h to the "City ", one (1) "Gutter Snipe" <br />sweeper as called for by the specifications of the "City", and <br />as is more particularly described in the proposal submitted with <br />the bid of the "Contractor ".
