0 ORDINANCE 3 3 �2 S AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORPu9 AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND THE MUNICIPAL SUPPLY COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF A STREET SWEEPER. WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety has prepared and filed specifications and advertised and received bids for the purchase of one small street sweeper for the street department of the city of South Bend, and after having received bids, entered into a contract with the Municipal Supply Company of South Bend, Indiana, for the purchase of a street sweeper, said company being the lowest bidder, which contract calls for the furnishing of said sweeper to the city of South Bend, Indiana, for the sum of Thirty -four Hundred ($3400.00) Dollars. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the city of South Bend, Indiana; SECTION ONE. That the contract entered into between the Board of Public Works and Safety of the city of South Bend, and the Municipal Supply Company, on the 17th day of June, 1940, which contract provides for the fur- nishing of a "Gutter Snipe" motorized street sweeper for the South Bend Street Department by the Municipal Supply Company, for the sum of $3400.00, to be paid by the city of South Bend, in accordance with the provisions of said con- tract, a copy of which contract, specifications,and proposal of the Municipal Supply Company being attached hereto, be, and the same is, in all things hereby confirmed, ratified and approved by the Common Council of the city of South Bend, Indiana. SECTION TWO.
