OI: 1,7 'C' -7702,36 /(AS AMENDED) <br />AN ORDINANCE DEFINING AND PROVIDING FOR THE <br />REGULATION AND LICENSING OF TOURIST CAMPS <br />AND HOUSE CARS: PROVIDING FOR THEIR LOCATION <br />uVITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: DEFINING CERTAIN 'TERMS: <br />PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF <br />TIiIS ORDINANCE: PROVIDING SAVING =AUU S <br />AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br />HEREVJITH, WITH CERTAIN SPECIFIC EXCEPTIONS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COLMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND: <br />SECTION 1. DEFINITIOFTS. <br />(a) The term "tourist camp ", or the word "camp ", as <br />herein used shall be a "tourist court ", or an "automobile tourist <br />court ", or a "combined automobile tourist court and tourist court ", <br />as said terns are hereinafter defined. <br />(b) A "tourist court" is hereby defined to be any lot, <br />tract or parcel of land, used in whole or in part, upon which two <br />or more single cottages or connected cottages are located and main- <br />tained for hurian habitation by day, week, month or for a longer <br />period of time, for or without compensation. <br />(c) An "automobile tourist court" is hereby defined to be <br />any lot, tract or parcel of land, used in whole or in part, to <br />provide parking facilities and accomodations by the day, week, <br />month or for a longer period of time, for or without compensation, <br />for two or more house oars when such hol.ise cars are being used for <br />human habitation-. <br />(d) A "combined automobile tourist court and tourist <br />court" is hereby defined to be any lot, tract or parcel of land, <br />used in whole or in part, upon w' -iich two or more cottages are <br />located and maintained for human <br />for a longer period of time, for <br />in addition thereto parking faci <br />provided by the day, week, month <br />or without compensation, for two <br />habitation by day, week, month or <br />or without compensation, and where <br />Lities and accomodations are also <br />or for a longer period of time, for <br />or more house cars when such house <br />cars are being used in whole or in part for human habitation. <br />(e) A "single cottage" is hereby defined to be any build- <br />ingor structure used by a single family* as living or sleeping <br />quarts in or upon any tourist carip. <br />- 1 - <br />
