thence South for a distance of one hundred and twenty <br />feet (1201); thence East a distance of one hundred <br />and sixty feet (1601) to a point ten feet (101) West <br />of the East line of Section 12, Township 37 North, <br />Range 2 East; thence South and Southwesterly parallel <br />with the West line of Eddy St. to the St. Joseph River; <br />thence Northwesterly along the river to the West end <br />of an East -West line which is one hundred and fifty -five <br />feet (1551) North of the point of beginning; thence <br />East along this East -West line to North Side Boulevard; <br />thence Southeasterl along North Side 'boulevard to a <br />point ten feet (101 West of the East line'of Section 12; <br />thence South to the place of beginning. <br />Section 2. Said officers shall in such deed reserve <br />and retain for and On behalf of the City of South Bend, anc <br />easement for possible bridge construction or relocation on <br />that portion of the above described land which is described <br />as follows; towit: <br />Beginning at a point two hundred and eighty -seven <br />and three- tenths feet (287.3) South and ten feet <br />(101) West of the Southeasterly corner of Lot 20 in <br />August Beyer's First Addition to the City of South <br />Bend; thence South 400 West to the St. Joseph River; <br />thence Southeasterly along the St. Joseph River to <br />the Sample St. bridge; thence Northeasterly and <br />North parallel to Eddy St. to the place of beginning. <br />Section 3. Said officers are ordered and directed to <br />make the donation of said land, and the transfer thereof contin- <br />gent upon the use thereof for Armory or Military purposes or both <br />and to provide that upon the cessation of such use or uses the <br />land shall revert to the City of South Bend, Indiana for park <br />purposes. <br />Section 4. The transfer of said land to the State <br />Armory Board of the State of Indiana is an emergency matter. <br />Section 5. Said officers are ordered and directed to <br />obtain an agreement with the State Armory Board of the State of <br />Indiana simultaneously with the delivery of the deed herein re- <br />ferred to providing for the construction of a fence by the State <br />Armory Board to separate the land donated and the balance of <br />the property owned by the city and used for park purposes, said <br />fence to be built when funds and material therefort,: are available. <br />
