STATE OF INDIANA : <br />: SS <br />ST. JOSEPH COUNTY : <br />TO THE HONORABLE MEMBERS OF THE CON41ON <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, IND <br />We, CHES'T'ER E. HAWX and MABEL A. HAWK, husband and wife, <br />state we are the owners of Lot Number One Hundred Eighty -four (184, <br />and Lot Number One Hundred Eighty -five (185), Second Flat of Park <br />Place Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana; and that said <br />property is located on the South east corner of Eddy Street and <br />Chalfant Street in the City of South Bend, Indiana, and that said <br />real estates are in "B" use Districe and "B" Height and Area Dis- <br />trice pursuant to Ordinance No. 2331, which is known as the <br />ordinance of the City of South Bend." <br />Petitioners herein are desirous that said ordinance be <br />amended by changing the zoning classification of the above des- <br />cribed lots from "B" residential district to "C" Commercial dis- <br />trict and from "B" Height and Area District to "D" Height and <br />Area District. <br />WHEREFORE, petitioners herein respectfully pray and <br />ask the Honorable Members of the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana to amend ordinance No. 2331 which is known <br />as the "zoning ordinance of the City of South Bend," by changing <br />the zoning classification of the above described lots from "B" <br />residential district to "C" commercial district and from "B" <br />4� Height and Area Distin*ct to "D" Height and Area District. <br />Submitted this day of July,. 1946. <br />ti <br />STATE OF INDIANA <br />: SS <br />ST.
