<br />REPAIRS OF SEWER REPLACEMENT $5 000.00 ACCOUNT'
<br />No. J -724, MOTOR EQUIPMENT $2 560.00 1CCOUSIT No.
<br />J -726, OTHER EQUIPMENT $750.06; AND IPPROPRIATING':
<br />THE SUM OF $81250.00 FROM TIE GENERAL FUND OF TIE
<br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, TO THE FOLLOWING
<br />1949 BUDGET ITEMS: STREET DEPARTMENT, ACCOUNT'
<br />No. S. -451, PARTS OF EQUIPMENT 63 250.00; AND TO
<br />DOG POUND ACCOUNT No. K -726, OT9R EQUIPMENT AND
<br />STRUCTURES $ 5 000.00; ALSO TRANSFERRING THE SUM
<br />OF $79500.00 FROM ACCOUNT No. S -43, STREET AND
<br />ALLEY, STREET DEPARTMENT TO ACCOUNT No. S. -331,
<br />GASOLINE, STREET DEPARTMENT, AND ALSO TRANSFERRING
<br />THE SUM OF $22500.00 FROM ACCOUNT No. S -724 MOTOR.
<br />EQUIPM9ENT, AND THE SUM OF $750.00 FROM ACCOUNT No.
<br />S -7261 OTHER EQUIPMENT, STREET DEPARTMENT TO ACCOUNT
<br />No. S -451, PARTS OF EQUIPMENT, STREET DEPARTMENT,
<br />AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana:
<br />Section 1. That the following items in the 1949 City of
<br />South Bend, Indiana budget of the Sewer Department be, and the
<br />same are hereby reduced in the amounts indicated, to -wit:
<br />Account No. J -252 Repair of Sewer Reba a,cement $5 57000.00

<br />Other Equipment

<br />Section 2. That the sum of $3 250.00 be, and the same is
<br />hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the City of South
<br />Bend, Indiana, to, and is appropriated for the uses and purposes.
<br />of the following budgetary item in the budget of the Street Dep-
<br />artment of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1949,
<br />to -wit:
<br />Account No. S -451 Parts of Equipment $ 31250.00
<br />Section 3. That the sum of u5,000.00 be, and the same here-
<br />by is appropriated from the General Fund of the City of South
<br />Bend, Indiana, to, and is appropriated for the uses and purposes .
<br />of the following budgetary item in the budget of Dog Pound of the
<br />City of South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1949, to -wit:
<br />Account No. K -726 Other Equipment and Structures 8 59000.00
<br />Section 4. That the following sums be, and the same hereby
<br />are transferred,namely: $7,500.00 from Account No. S -43, Street
<br />and Alley, $2 500.00 from Account No. S -724, Motor Equipment, and
<br />$750.00 from Iccount No. S -726, Other Equipment, all in the Stree
<br />Department, to and are appropriated for the uses and purposes of
<br />the following budgetary items in the budget of the Street Depart-
<br />ment of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1949, to-
<br />wit:
