Herrman & Goetz Annexation Area SECTION I. INTRODUCTION A. General This Fiscal Plan represents the City of South Bend's (hereinafter, "City") policy for the annexation of property in German Township, St. Joseph County (hereinafter, "Annexation Area "), and was developed through the cooperative efforts of the Area Plan Commission and the following City Departments: Legal Department Department of Public Works South Bend Fire Department South Bend Police Department Department of Code Enforcement Department of Community and Economic Development Department of Administration and Finance B. Annexation of Non - Contiguous Property The Annexation Area is a non - contiguous annexation, and is being annexed according to the requirements and criteria of the State annexation law. The entire territory is within 2 miles of the municipality's boundary: The Annexation Area is entirely within two miles of the South Bend city limits. The nearest property line is within 750' of the City limits. The furthest property line is within 2,950' of the City limits. 2. The territory is zoned in the county for industrial purposes: The Annexation Area is zoned "M" Manufacturing in the county. The territory is to be used as an industrial park containing 1 or more businesses: The planned uses of the Annexation Area is for (1) one or more businesses within an industrial park setting. 4. The owner of the territory consents to the annexation: The owner of the property within the Annexation Area consents to the annexation.
