Herrman & Goetz Annexation Area <br />SECTION I. INTRODUCTION <br />A. General <br />This Fiscal Plan represents the City of South Bend's (hereinafter, "City") policy for the annexation <br />of property in German Township, St. Joseph County (hereinafter, "Annexation Area "), and was <br />developed through the cooperative efforts of the Area Plan Commission and the following City <br />Departments: <br />Legal Department <br />Department of Public Works <br />South Bend Fire Department <br />South Bend Police Department <br />Department of Code Enforcement <br />Department of Community and Economic Development <br />Department of Administration and Finance <br />B. Annexation of Non - Contiguous Property <br />The Annexation Area is a non - contiguous annexation, and is being annexed according to the <br />requirements and criteria of the State annexation law. <br />The entire territory is within 2 miles of the municipality's boundary: <br />The Annexation Area is entirely within two miles of the South Bend city limits. <br />The nearest property line is within 750' of the City limits. The furthest property <br />line is within 2,950' of the City limits. <br />2. The territory is zoned in the county for industrial purposes: <br />The Annexation Area is zoned "M" Manufacturing in the county. <br />The territory is to be used as an industrial park containing 1 or more businesses: <br />The planned uses of the Annexation Area is for (1) one or more businesses within <br />an industrial park setting. <br />4. The owner of the territory consents to the annexation: <br />The owner of the property within the Annexation Area consents to the <br />annexation. <br />
