Section 3. Section 6-19 be amended by adding thereto: <br />(cl Service change or upgrade shall require the structure to be brought into compliance with the <br />electrical code in effect at the time of the service change or up remade. <br />Section 4. Section 6-22(c) be amended as follows: <br />(c) , <br />(c) The Board or its designee shall examine applicants for licenses a minimum of twice a}ear, <br />provided that anv such applications are pendine. The Board may also meet at other_times at the call of the <br />chairman of the Board. <br />Section 5. Section 6-23 (a)(1) be amended as follows: <br />(1) Class A electrical contractor's license. A Class A electrical contractor's lic3ense may be issued to a <br />person who is principally engaged in the business of <br />electrical contracting. This license entitles the holder and his/her employees to perform electrical contracting <br />work. <br />Section 6. Section 6-23(k)(2) be amended as follows: <br />(2) In the event of a death of the license holder, the business firm, company, or corporation shall have <br />six (6 months to secure another license holder. A <br />new license shall be issued in accordance with the provisions set forth in section 6-23. <br />Section 7. This license entitles the holder and his/her employees to perform heating, air conditioning and <br />ventilating contracting work and to sell approved heating, air conditioning and ventilating apparatus and <br />devices. <br />Section 9. Section 6-36.2 (k)(2) be amended as follows: <br />(2) In the event of a death of the license holder, the business firm, company, or corporation shall have <br />six (6 months to secure another license holder. A <br />new license shall be issued in accordance with the provisions set forth in section 6-36.2. <br />
