Section 3. Section 6-19 be amended by adding thereto: (cl Service change or upgrade shall require the structure to be brought into compliance with the electrical code in effect at the time of the service change or up remade. A Class A electrical contractor's lic3ense may be issued to a person who is principally engaged in the business of electrical contracting. This license entitles the holder and his/her employees to perform electrical contracting work. Section 6. Section 6-23(k)(2) be amended as follows: (2) In the event of a death of the license holder, the business firm, company, or corporation shall have six (6 months to secure another license holder. A new license shall be issued in accordance with the provisions set forth in section 6-23. Section 7. Section 6-36.2 (a) (1) be amended as follows: (1) Heating, air conditioning and ventilating contractor's license. A heating, air conditioning and ventilating contractor's license maybe issued to a person who is principally engaged in the business of heating, air conditioning or ventilating contracting. This license entitles the holder and his/her employees to perform heating, air conditioning and ventilating contracting work and to sell approved heating, air conditioning and ventilating apparatus and devices. Section 9. A new license shall be issued in accordance with the provisions set forth in section 6-36.2.
