South Bend Redevelopment Commission Regular Meeting -November 7, 2008 6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) C. South Bend Central Development Area (5) continued... Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the request for proposal and accepted the proposal from Wightman Petrie in an amount not to exceed $12,095. (6) Proposals for appraisal services in the South Bend Central Development Area. (118 S. William, 325-329 S. Main, 410 S. Taylor) Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the request for proposals and accepted the proposal from R.E. Pitts for 325 S. Main in the amount of $2,950, Ralph Lauver for 118 S. William and 410 S. Taylor in the amount of 6,500, and Jerome Michaels for all three properties for a cost of $9,300. (7) Staff report on 118 N. Main Street in the South Bend Central Development Area. (JMS parking) Ms. Laurent noted that on June 13 the Commission approved an option contract to purchase the property at 118 N. Main St., the surface parking lot adjacent to the JMS office building. Subsequently, the property was publicly offered for disposition by the Commission on August 1. Resolution No. 2440 set the disposition price at $200,000, the same price at which the Commission would acquire the property from COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL AND ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM WIGHTMAN PETRIE IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $12,095 COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM R.E.
