South Bend Central Development Area <br />(5) continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />proposal and accepted the proposal from <br />Wightman Petrie in an amount not to exceed <br />$12,095. <br />(6) Proposals for appraisal services in the <br />South Bend Central Development Area. <br />(118 S. William, 325-329 S. Main, 410 S. <br />Taylor) <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />proposals and accepted the proposal from <br />R.E. Pitts for 325 S. Main in the amount of <br />$2,950, Ralph Lauver for 118 S. William and <br />410 S. Taylor in the amount of 6,500, and <br />Jerome Michaels for all three properties for a <br />cost of $9,300. <br />(7) Staff report on 118 N. Main Street in the <br />South Bend Central Development Area. <br />(JMS parking) <br />Ms. Laurent noted that on June 13 the <br />Commission approved an option contract to <br />purchase the property at 118 N. Main St., the <br />surface parking lot adjacent to the JMS office <br />building. Subsequently, the property was <br />publicly offered for disposition by the <br />Commission on August 1. Resolution <br />No. 2440 set the disposition price at <br />$200,000, the same price at which the <br />Commission would acquire the property from <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR <br />PROPOSAL AND ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />WIGHTMAN PETRIE IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO <br />EXCEED $12,095 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR <br />PROPOSALS AND ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />R.E.
