ORDINANCE N0. G$ <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF PMSONAL <br />PROPERTY OWH@D BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I: That the following items of personal property be appraised and <br />sold by the Board of Water Works Commissioners for not less than the full <br />appraised value thereof: <br />1 - Allis- Chalmers high duty 5,000,000 gallon per <br />24 hour, 42 r.p.m. 1411 x 360 plunger type out- <br />side packed horizontal pump - direct connected <br />to Allis- Chalmers horizontal engine - size 1811 <br />& 400 x 360 stroke - serial # 208 and 862. <br />1 - Allis - Chalmers high duty 5,000,000 gallon per <br />24 hour, 42 r.p.m. 140 x 360 plunger type out- <br />side packed horizontal pump - direct connected to <br />Allis - Chalmers horizontal engine - size 180 <br />& 400 x 360 stroke - serial # 209 and 863. <br />1 - 171 h.p. Erie City type #1- C-168P 3 -drum water <br />tube boiler in brick setting - 200# steam <br />pressure - battery - stoker firing, each <br />boiler has 336 tubes - ;$0 diam. #12 gauge <br />BWG - each drum 340 diam. - 8t50 long - shell <br />thickness 23/320 - head thickness 9/160 and <br />5[811 - one manhole each drum 2 sets Diamond <br />model #G2 independently valved soot blowers. <br />National board #6926 - Hartford Steam Boiler <br />Co., #8365o. <br />1 - 171 h.p.
