P E T I T I O N <br />May 25, 1955 <br />To the Members of the Common Council <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />f AY 2 1955 <br />EVELYN M. HENNESSY. <br />CITY. CLERK <br />Taube Printing Corporation, a corporation duly organized and existing <br />under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Indiana, with its principal <br />place of business and general offices presently located at No. 320 East <br />Colfax Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, the owner of the fee simple title <br />to the following described real estate, respectfully petitions the Common <br />Council to rezone the same from "B" residential to "D" use district light <br />industrial and "F" height and area district: <br />Lots Numbered 40, 41 and 42 as shown on the recorded <br />Revised Plat of Oakland Park, a Subdivision of the City <br />of South Bend, recorded in Plat Book 6, Page 89. <br />The real estate above described is unimproved and was purchased by the <br />said corporation for the purpose of constructing thereupon a substantially <br />fire proof building consisting of cement blocks, cement floors and brick <br />facing, with no basement. The building to be approximately 50 x 120 feet. <br />The purpose of the construction of the above described building is to house <br />the present printing business of the corporation. <br />No objections thus far have been encountered on the part of the neighboring <br />property owners and, in fact, all who have been approached have signified <br />their willingness to go along with the project. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />TAUBE PRINTING CORPORATION <br />STATE OF INDIANA ) SS: By ��- <br />ST.
