HENNESSY, <br />Gentlemen: <br />July S, 1955 <br />-,K <br />The petition of the Taube Printing Corporation to rezone <br />Lots numbered 40, 41, and 42 of the Revised Plat of <br />Oakland Park, which land is situated on the northeast <br />corner of Northside Boulevard and Emerson Avenue, from <br />"B" Residential Use District to I'D" Light- industrial Use <br />District and 'IF" Height and Area District, was referred <br />from the Council under date of June 13, 1955, legally <br />advertised under date of June 27, 1955, and.-pliblic <br />hearing by the Planning Commission under date of July 7, '55. <br />The Commission found that because of peculiarities of the <br />site and surrounding properties industrial use on said lots <br />would in no way interfere with tr adversely influence surround- <br />ing properties. The Commission also found that industrial use <br />on subject properties would, in effect, act as a buffer between <br />residential lots to the east and the light - industrial use to <br />the west of subject lots. <br />It was, therefore, moved, seconded, and carried that the <br />petition be recommended favorably to the Common Council. <br />CITY, CLERK RLH:aed <br />Attachment <br />Very truly yours, <br />�Cl/T�Y N /INGG COMMISSION <br />Robert L.
