HUFF <br />DIRECTOR OF PLANNING <br />Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached ordinance amending Sections 3, 3A, <br />and 4 of Ordinance No, 3702, was legally adver- <br />tised under date of April 11, 1955, and given <br />public hearing under date of April 21, 1955. <br />After due consideration the Commission found <br />that the benefits accruing to the community <br />far outweighed the inconvenience caused the <br />drivers of such trucks, and that the parking <br />of such facilities was completely incompatible <br />in a residential district.
