ORDINANCE NO. 4013 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE <br />NO. 3702 COM1x1ONLY KNOWN AS "THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.° <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 3702 commonly known as "The Zoning Ordinance <br />of South Bend, Indiana" be amended by the addition of the following subsection <br />to Section 18 -d (Jurisdiction): <br />(9) For the purpose of creating an effective buffer between residential and <br />commercial or industrial uses, the Board of Zoning Appeals may permit parking <br />lots in any residential district where the area is adjacent to any commercial <br />or industrial district.. or is separated therefrom by a street or alley not <br />over 30 feet in width. Such parking lot shall be subject to any and all con- <br />ditions that the Board may impose for the protection of residential property. <br />SECTION ii.
