ORDINANCE ANNEXING LANDS TO AND DECLARING SAME TO BE A PART OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. That the following described territory and land in St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, be and the same is hereby annexed to and declared to be a part of the said City of South Bend, Indiana: Beginning at a point at the NE corner of Sec. 5, T37N, R3E, ,thence south along the east section line of said Sec. 5 a distance of 737.15 ft., more or less, thence west a distance of 553.08 ft., more or less, thence north a distance of 736.56 ft., more or less, thence east a distance of 552.16 ft., more or less, to the point of beginning, containing 913 acres, more or less; y--� Also, beginning at a point at the SE corner of the NE4 of Sec. 5, T37N, R3E, thence west along the south line of the NE-4L of Sec. 5 a distance of 336 ft., more or less, thence north parallel with east line of said Sec. 5 a distance of 1,312.8 ft., more or less, thence east a distance of 336 ft., more or less, to the east line of said Sec. 5, thence south along the east line of said Sec. 5 a distance of 1,312.8 ft., more or less, to the point of beginning, containing 9.4 acres, more or less; Also, beginning at a point at the SE corner of Sec. 5, T37N, R3E, thence west along the south section line of said Sec. 5 a distance of 1115 ft., more or less, thence north a distance of 1534 ft., more or less, to a point at the SW corner of Lot 299, McKinley Terrace Addition Sec. "A ", thence east a distance of 1145 ft., more or less, thence south along the east section line of said Sec. 5, a distance of 1534 ft., more or less to the point of beginning, containing �0- acres, more or less. SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from 1st &2nd READI and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor \and legal publication.
