Martha Dockery to rezone property generally described as being two adja- cent parcels of land on the west side of Hickory Road. 160 feet north of McKinley Avenue (U. S. 20) from "A" Residential Use District to "C -1" Commercial Use District and. "A" Height and. Area District and from "A" Residential Use District to "C" Commercial Use District and "B" Height and Area District was legally advertised. under date of June 26, 1961 and given public hearing under date of July 6, 1961. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that surrounding land use was predominantly commercial in character and that public welfare would best be served by commercial zoning of subject property.
