Martha Dockery <br />to rezone property generally described as being two adja- <br />cent parcels of land on the west side of Hickory Road. <br />160 feet north of McKinley Avenue (U. S. 20) from "A" <br />Residential Use District to "C -1" Commercial Use District <br />and. "A" Height and. Area District and from "A" Residential <br />Use District to "C" Commercial Use District and "B" Height <br />and Area District was legally advertised. under date of <br />June 26, 1961 and given public hearing under date of <br />July 6, 1961. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found <br />that surrounding land use was predominantly <br />commercial in character and that public welfare <br />would best be served by commercial zoning of <br />subject property.
