PUBLIC AGENDA SESSION APRIL 3, 2014 118 <br />- Opening of Quotations — Cold Milling <br />Mr. Gilot suggested Mr. Paul South work with Marcia Qualls, Customer Service, on educating <br />the residents in the neighborhoods where this work is being done on why the work is done at <br />night on low flow and why it's in their best interest. He added they should explain the low flow <br />will not create loud noise at night. <br />- Professional Services Proposal — Mitchell Heppenheimer <br />Attorney Cheryl Greene stated this should be removed from the agenda, and Legal will do their <br />own letter of engagement. She noted the City's Corporate Counsel has the sole authority to hire <br />outside counsel, not the Board of Works. <br />The Clerk was instructed to post the agenda and notify the media and other persons who have <br />requested notice of the meeting agenda. Martin, Clerk <br />REGULAR MEETING APRIL 8, 2014 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:35 a.m. on Tuesday, April <br />8, 2014, by Board President Gary A. Gilot, with Board Members David Relos, Kathryn E. Roos, <br />Patrick Henthorn, and Brian Pawlowski present. Also present was Board Attorney Cheryl <br />Greene. <br />APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING <br />Upon a motion made by Ms, Roos, seconded by Mr. Relos and carried, the Minutes of the <br />Agenda Session of March 20, 2014; the Regular Meeting of March 25, 2014; and the Claims <br />Meeting of the Board held on April 1, 2014, were approved. <br />OPENING OF BIDS — 2014 SEWER LINING — PROJECT NO. 114-005 SEWER CAPITAL <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referenced project. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- <br />County News, which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly <br />read: <br />LANZO LINING SERVICES INC.
