officer of St. Joseph Capital Bank (now Old National Bank) in Mishawaka and as a <br />regional manager of personal trust for St. Joseph Bank & Trust (now Key Bank) in South <br />Bend. <br /> <br />King has received five communitywide awards: <br />? <br />YWCA Woman of the Year for education (1995) <br />? <br />Drum Major Community Service Award from the City of Mishawaka (2002) <br />? <br />The Athena Award from the South Bend/Mishawaka Chamber of Commerce <br />(2002). The Athena Award honors an individual for assisting women in <br />developing their leadership potential, community service involvement and <br />exemplary business standing. <br />? <br />The Vision Award for Women from the Healthy Communities Initiative of St. <br />Joseph County (2003). <br />? <br />The Community Service and Civil Rights Award from the Urban League of South <br />Bend and St. Joseph County (2004). <br /> <br />A graduate of Miami University of Oxford, Ohio, King has a master’s degree from <br />Indiana University South Bend and certification as a trust and financial advisor through <br />the Institute of Certified Bankers. <br /> <br />Other voting members of the Redevelopment Commission include Marcia I. Jones, chair; <br />Gregory S. Downes; Hardie Blake Jr. and David Varner, who also is a Common Council <br />th <br />representative from the 5 District. Ann Rosen is a non-voting member, representing the <br />South Bend Community School Corp. <br /> <br />The Redevelopment Commission meets the first and third Fridays of each month at 10 <br />th <br />a.m. on the 13 floor of the County-City Building, 227 W.
