PUBLIC AGENDA SESSION <br />ATTEST: <br />Linda M .Martin, Clerk <br />JANUARY 15.2014 <br />Luther Taylor, Member <br />Daniel Jones, ember <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION JANUARY 15 2014 <br />The Board of Public Safety met in the Executive Session on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 9 :17 <br />a.m. The meeting was held in the Board Conference Room, 13`x' Floor, County City Building, South <br />Bend, Indiana, for the purposes specified in I.C. 5- 14- 1.5- 6.1(b)(2)(A)6(A). Board President <br />Laura Vasquez, and Board Members Eddie Miller, Luther Taylor, John Collins, and Daniel Jones <br />were present. Also present were Fire Chief Stephen Cox, Police Chief Ronald Teachman, Assistant <br />Police Chief Scott Ruszkowski, and Attorney Cory Hamel. MaAin, Cle k <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY <br />J l � <br />Laura Vasquez, Member <br />Eddie Miller, Member <br />John oIlins, Member <br />Luther Taylor, Meber <br />Daniel Jones'; M her <br />REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 15. 2014 <br />The Board of Public Safety met in the Regular Meeting at 9:29 a.m, on Wednesday, January 15, <br />2014, with Board President Laura Vasquez, and Board Members Eddie Miller, Luther Taylor, John <br />Collins, and Daniel Jones present. Also present were Police Chief Ronald Teachman, Assistant <br />Police Chief Scott Ruszkowski, Fire Chief Stephen Cox, and Attorney Cory Hamel. The meeting <br />was held in the Board Conference Room, 13" Floor, County City Building, South Bend, Indiana. <br />APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Miller, seconded by Mr. Collins and carried, the Board approved the Minutes <br />of the Public Agenda Session, Executive Session, and Regular Meetings of December 18, 2013 with <br />two corrections noted. <br />ELECTION OF 2014 BOARD OF SAFETY PRESIDENT <br />Mr. Collins nominated Ms. Laura Vasquez for the position of President of the Board of Safety for <br />2014. Ms. Vasquez accepted the nomination and upon a motion by Mr. Collins, seconded by Mr. <br />Taylor and carried, Ms. Laura Vasquez was elected President of the Board of Safety for 2014. <br />
