Airport Economic Development Area <br />(2) continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />proposals and accepted the proposals from <br />Rick Pitts and Ralph Lauver for the scope of <br />services and fee proposed. (Appraisals, <br />MIND Area) <br />(3) Update on LaSalle Square Plan <br />Mr. Inks read into the record the <br />Communication from Jerry Niezgodski, <br />Chairman of the Lincoln Way West Gateway <br />Association. <br />Dear Members of the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission, <br />On behalf of the neighbors of the Lincoln <br />Way West Gateway Association I would like <br />to add our voice of support for the plans <br />being presented today for the redevelopment <br />of LaSalle Square. We want to thank South <br />Bend's Director of Community and Economic <br />Development, .Leff Gibney and the city <br />administration for making this a public <br />process and look forward to partnering with <br />them throughout the redevelopment process. <br />We also want to thank zpd+a and the Center <br />for Neighborhood Technology for their hard <br />work and dedication to facilitating <br />community involvement in the planning <br />process.
