Section I. The Common Council supports the Fair Minimum Wage Act, which <br />would raise and index the federal minimum wage to restore it to its historic value and <br />raise the subminimum wage for tipped workers, and calls upon Congress to pass this <br />legislation and send it to the President for signature. <br />Section II.
