Responsible Animal and Pet Ownership Care and Control Regulation Ordinance <br />Page 37 <br />3. Prior to engagements, permit holders will furnish the Division of Animal Care <br />and Control with a schedule of dates and times of exhibits or performances so the <br />Division of Animal Care and Control can perform periodic inspections. <br />(h) Omnibus Permit. <br />I. Fee - $300 <br />2. This permit shall allow the holder to operate a kennel or cattery, grooming shop, <br />or a pet shop. <br />3. The permit holder does not need to obtain individual permits in the <br />aforementioned areas, but all requirements for each of the aforementioned permits <br />shall be met before the Omnibus Permit may be granted. Animals owned as <br />personal pets by the business owner or resident will not be considered registered <br />under this permit. <br />(i) All permits will be issued after inspection approved by the Division of Animal Care and <br />Control, provided all requirements of this Chapter are met. <br />See. 5 -53 Permit Suspension. <br />(a) Whenever an inspection indicates fraud, material misrepresentation or false statements or <br />that the condition of a licensee's premises creates an imminent hazard to the public health <br />or to the health of any animal. in the licensee's care, the Director may immediately <br />suspend the license and impond any animal in the licensee's care until such time that the <br />conditions that caused the hazard are corrected. <br />(b) Upon suspension of any license, all operations related to the license shall cease at once. <br />The Director may cause a "notice of closure" sign to be conspicuously placed upon the <br />suspended licensee's premises. It shall be unlawful for any person to remove a "notice of <br />closure" sign placed on the licensee's premises unless authorized to do so by the Director. <br />Sec. 5 -54 Appeals; Re- Inspections; Denials or Revocation of Permit. <br />(a) Any person who is denied a permit or whose permit is suspended or revoked may appeal <br />the denial, suspension or revocation in accordance with this section within sixty (60) days <br />of the date of the denial, suspension or revocation of the permit. <br />(b) The permit holder may request a re- inspection for permit reinstatement based on <br />compliance or may appeal the SBACC revocation. All requests for appeals must be in <br />writing and addressed to the Animal Control Commission; whereupon, the Commission <br />shall set the appeal for hearing within forty -five (45) days of the receipt of the written <br />request. <br />(c) Upon re- inspection by SBACC following an appeal, a permit reinstatement fee of fifty <br />dollars ($50.00) will be required prior to reopening. <br />
