BLOUGH <br />CITY CLERK, SOUTH BEND, IND. <br />ORDINANCE y/��/9 G6 <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE <br />OF A GIFT OF PERSONAL PROPERTY TO BE <br />DONATED BY THE STUDEBAKER CORPORATION <br />TO THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE MUNICIPAL CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I: That the offer of Studebaker Corporation to give <br />and donate to the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />exclusively' for public display in perpetuum, certain personal <br />property as more partictalarly.described in the Indenture of <br />General Conveyance and schedule "N' attached thereto an <br />instrument O-Atitiied "Agreement Accepting Gift" tendered for, <br />consideration by the Common Council df the Municipal City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, is in the public interests and that said <br />offer and gift of said property, subject to the reservations <br />contained in said Indenture of General CGhveyance hn instrument <br />entitled "Agreement Accepting Gift ", is hereby accepted on <br />behalf of the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />SECTION II: That the Mayor and City Clerk of the <br />Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana are authorized, empowered <br />and directed to execute and deliver said "Agreement Accepting <br />Gift" and said indenture of general conveyance in order that <br />all of the reservations, agreements and terms thereof will be <br />binding upon the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />SECTION III: <br />and effect from an <br />and its approval b <br />y <br />Icl 4 tad READW 9-1d _�a <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WNW <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />3rd READING <br />NOT APPROVED <br />REFERRED <br />9 z -4. f- <br />'? /d- -66 <br />That this Ordinance shall be in full force <br />d after its adoption by the Common Council <br />the Mayor. <br />PASSED I? -/,>- G6 <br />
