SECTION 25. <br />Enforcement <br />It shall be the duty of the Building Commissioner to see <br />that this ordinance is enforced through the proper legal <br />channels. Appeal from the decision of the Building Commissioner <br />may be made to the Board of Zoning Appeals as provided by <br />Section 18. <br />SECTION 26. <br />Validity <br />Should any section, clause, or provision of this ordi- <br />nance be declared by the court to be invalid, the same shall <br />not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any <br />part thereof. <br />SECTION 27. <br />Repealer <br />Any ordinance or part of an ordinance in conflict with <br />this ordinance is hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 28. <br />Savings Clause <br />Any proceedings, civil or criminal, which are now pending <br />and any judgments heretofore rendered under the ordinances <br />- hereby repealed shall not be affected by such repeal, and <br />such suits may be prosecuted as if such ordinances had not <br />been repealed. <br />SECTION 29. <br />- Interpretation <br />In interpreting and applying the provisions of this ordi- <br />nance, they shall be held to be the minimum requirements for <br />the promotion of the public safety, health, convenience, com- <br />fort, and general welfare. <br />SECTION 30. <br />When Effective <br />This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its <br />passage and legal publication. <br />W 3 2nd READING <br />MMWFTEE OF THE WHU <br />PUBLIC HEARINS 3 -11 -68 <br />3rd READING 3 -11 -68 <br />NOT A PROVED <br />REFERRED <br />PASSED 3 -11 -68 <br />A <br />
