Plat; thence Southwesterly Thirty (30) feet along the South line of said Lot V to the Southwest corner of said Lot V; thence North- westerly along the West line of said Lot V Fifty (50) feet more or less to the center line of Buirman Ditch; thence in a Southwesterly direction following the center line of said Ditch to the inter- section of the West line of Lot E; thence in a Southeasterly dir- ection along the Southwest ends of Lots E, F and G to the South line of Lot G, being the Northwest line of above mentioned alley; thence in a Northeasterly direction along the Southeast line of Lot G to the place of beginning, all as shovrn in Plat Book 9, page 100 in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Ind- iana. shall be sold pursuant to the authority of the Acts of the Indiana General Assembly for 1905, Chapter 129, Section 53, page 219, the 50th Clause and pursuant to such authority the City is authorized to, and shall, petition the Judge of the Circuit Court of St. Joseph County to appoint three dis- interested freeholders of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to appraise each of said parcels of real estate and each of said parcels of real es- tate shall be sold for not less than such respective appraised value of each. SECTION II. The b;,ayor of the City of South Bend is hereb; directed and authorized in the name of the City of South Bend to execute any and all necessary instruments to accomplish the conveyance of each of said parcels of real estate and the City Clerk is directed and authorized to attest any such instruments and affix the seal of the City thereto. SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage by the Common Council by a vote of not less than tyro- thirds of the members of said Council and its signature by the Mayor. h1ember of the Common Council
