Transfer of Funds - Fire Department <br />ORDINANCE NO, 5090 -69 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION <br />TO ACCOUNT Q -43, "REPAIR PARTS" IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $4,000.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FROM <br />ACCOUNT Q -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL" AND FOR AN <br />ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT Q -262, <br />"MEDICAL, SURGICAL AND DENTAL ", IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $4,000.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FRCM <br />ACCOUNT Q -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL ", IN THE FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT, ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since <br />the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to <br />appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the <br />various functions of city government to meet such extraordinary conditions, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the South Bend Fire De- <br />partment to provide funds for acquiring repair parts to repair equipment <br />of the Fire Department and assure that department's ability to properly <br />performs its functions, and <br />117BEREAS, additional funds are needed by the South Bend Fire De- <br />partment for payment of medical, surgical and dental expenses of firemen <br />and to assure that department's ability to properly perform its functions, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COI,MI[ON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $4,000.00 be transferred from Account <br />Q -11, "Services Personal ", and transferred and appropriated to Account <br />Q -43, "Repair Parts ", both accounts being within the General Fund. <br />SECTION II.
