Hunter, Director of Utilities <br />This project was properly advertised in two newspapers on <br />January 9 and 16, 1970. Bids were received from six companies <br />and opened on January 19. The bids are as follows: <br />COMPANY <br />AMOUNT OF BID <br />City Electric, Incorporated <br />$11,895.00 <br />Dave's Electric Company, Inc. <br />8,079.00 <br />Northern Electric Construction Co., Inc. <br />4,556.00 <br />Koontz- Wagner Electric Company, Inc. <br />6,970.00 <br />Arrow Electric Company <br />7,970.00 <br />Morse Electric Company, Incorporated <br />5,405.00 <br />The bid has been awarded to Northern Electric <br />Construction Co., <br />Inc. as low bidder at $4,556. The bid did conform <br />to specifica- <br />tions. The project involves lighting for eight <br />of our pumping <br />station locations- -badly in need of protection <br />against vandalism, <br />etc. We feel this is necessary to improve the <br />conditions surround - <br />ing our plant facilities. <br />John L.
