February 17, 1971 <br />TO: Members of the Common Council <br />RF,,: Private Passenger Cars - Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />FROM: John L. Hunter, Director of Utilities <br />111, Board of Wastewater Treatment Plant Commissioners entered into a <br />contract on February 16 with Don Medow Motors for the purchase of two <br />1971 Hornets at a total cost of $3,987.86. Don Medow Motors was low <br />bidder on bids received January 18 on smaller units. Previously bids <br />were received on larger cars with the low bid at $5,0314.06. <br />We recommend that the smaller units be purchased since they can be used <br />In this department for the type of work performed. The two units will <br />be used by the laboratory for supervision of this department in testing, <br />etc., and also for supervision of maintenance of our plants, diversion <br />chambers, lift stations, etc. <br />J hn L.
