Commonly Known as the K -Mart - Brite -Way Area ORDINANCE NO. 5305 -71 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA - 1962 SECTION 40 AS AMENDED AND GENERAL ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, AND THE ACCOMPANYING MAP THERETO, GENERALLY KNOWN AS THE SOUTH BEND ZONING ORDINANCE BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE USE DISTRICT FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1 The municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, 1962, and General Ordinance No. 4990 -68 and the accompanying map or maps thereto, as amended, are further amended insofar as the same relates to that certain parcel of land situate in the City of South Bend, and known and designated as: Beginning at the intersection of the south line of Callander Street and the east right -of -way line of U.S. #31; thence north easterly along the east line of U.S. #31 to a point ninety -seven and twenty -five hundredths feet (97.25') south and fifty feet (50') east of the center of the intersection of U.S. #31 and Ireland Road; thence north- easterly to a point in the south right -of -way line of Ireland Road and one hundred and twenty -five feet (125') east of the centerline of U.S. #31; thence east along the south line of Ireland Road a distance of seven hundred fifty -four and ninety six hundredths feet (754.96') to the north east corner of lot numbered eleven (11) in the proposed plat of the N 1/2 of SW 1/4, Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, as recorded by deed record 668 page 91; thence south along the east line of the above mentioned lot numbered eleven (11) a distance of three hundred feet (300') to the south east corner of the above mentioned lot numbered eleven (11); thence east on a line parallel to the south line of Ireland Road to a point three hundred feet (300') south of the south line of Ireland Road and two hundred feet (200') west of the west line of the recorded amended plat of Hablitzel Sub., as recorded in plat book - 19 - page 1 -1, December 26, 1956; thence south on a line parallel with and two hundred feet (200') west of the west line of the amended plat of Hablitzel Sub. to a point of intersection with the north line of the south one half of the SW 1/4 of Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, said point also being the north line of the recorded plat of Hartman Terrace as recorded in plat book 17 - page "H "- March 16, 1950; thence west along the north line of the south one half of the SW 1/4, Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, and the north line of Hartman Terrace to the intersection with the north easterly right -of -way line of U.S. #31 interchange thence north westerly along the northerly right -of -way line of U.S. #31 interchange to the point of intersection with the south line of Callander
