• projected utilization of Phase I facility at or near capacity within one year of opening. <br />• number of graduating companies emerging from the park into Michiana. <br />• new contracted agreements for future facilities. <br />• the projected sustainability track of IP @ND through identified and/or committed funding <br />sources. <br />• the quantity and quality of publicity and recognition received from authoritative entities <br />for the IP @ND's service in pursuing useful applications of research. <br />The IP @ND will be a park designed and managed by experienced entrepreneurs for the <br />benefit of new entrepreneurs. Unlike other university -based research parks, most full -time <br />employees of the IP @ND should have prior entrepreneurial experience, enabling them to more <br />readily understand and respond to the anticipated tenant needs. Other skill sets may well include <br />those with former faculty experience to help guide the process through channels. Wherever <br />possible, the IP @ND will seek to utilize current undergraduate students and graduates to handle <br />routine duties, allowing the more experienced full -time staff to focus on recruiting and <br />counseling new tenants and clients in their efforts to advance their particular ventures. The <br />staffing of the Innovation Park at Notre Dame will reflect the anticipated services to be provided <br />to tenants and clients. <br />Initial full -time staffing of the IP @ND is expected to include: <br />• President / Chief Executive Officer (CEO) presently the Director. <br />• Engagement Director(s) — Client Services to help recruit tenants, clients and projects to <br />the park and provide ongoing counsel to tenants as their venture progresses. <br />• Engagement Director — Private Sector to interface with third party business and domain <br />thought leaders and equity capital sources (angels, VC, PEG). <br />Page 20 of 23 <br />
