Organization Chart for the Innovation Park at Notre Dame
Board of Directors
Of IP @ND
Advisory
Committees
President/CEO
Of IP @ND
IP @ND Staff ------------ Specific Funded Programs
(employees of ND) (e.g., INmigration)
The Chairman of the Board of Directors is Dr. Thomas Burish, the Provost of the University.
The IP @ND will be managed by David Brenner, as Director of the IP @ND and an employee of
the University. The University will lease his services to the IP @ND as President and CEO when
the corporation is in operation. In this role, David Brenner will be responsible for all of the
activities of the IP @ND including planning, budgeting, program development, fundraising,
personnel, oversight of all imbedded program activities, etc. He will report to Dr. Burish as an
employee of Notre Dame and to the Board of Directors of the corporation. Any other future full -
time IP @ND staff will be employees of the University of Notre Dame and leased to the
corporation.
Several Advisory Committees may be established as determined by the Board of
Directors with the counsel of President/CEO. These committees may include Innovation
Strategy, Domain Knowledge and Venture Capital. The function of these committees will not be
to govern or make decisions for the IP @ND, but to provide input, opinion, and data to inform
policy decisions of the Board of Directors and operational decisions of the President/CEO. It is
anticipated that each member of the Board will serve on at least one of these committees and that
at least one Board member will be on each committee to serve as liaison between the committee
Page 12 of 23
