ITEM 1 <br />Awarded to Inland Chemical Company, <br />Ashland Chemical Company is 40 cents <br />unit, but it would require a change <br />their tanks. Bid difference is $2L4. <br />was $1.18. <br />ITEM 2 <br />our present supplier. <br />lower in price on each <br />in fittings, etc., for <br />Unit price bid in 1970 <br />Awarded to Inland Chemical Company, our present supplier. <br />Midwest Chlorine is $4 lower on each unit or a total of $40. <br />However using their chemical would require a change in fittings, <br />etc. We. also feel Inland having a local office can ofler us <br />better service. Last year's unit bid was $162. <br />ITEM 3 <br />Awarded to Ashland Chemical Company, a local firm and second <br />lowest bidder. The total difference in the contract is 53 <br />cents per unit or a total of $20I.L60. The unit price of $18 <br />is the same as in 1970. <br />ITEM 4 <br />Awarded to Mid -State Chemical, the low bidder. Cost per ton <br />during 1970 was $105. <br />
