ORDINANCE NO. 5220 -70 <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF LANDS BELONGING <br />TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF ITS <br />PARK DEPARTMENT <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />Section 1: <br />That the Board of Park Commissioners of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, <br />solved that the real <br />no longer suitable o <br />stricted area and is <br />purposes and that it <br />property be sold and <br />of the City of South <br />Section 2: <br />after consideration and deliberation, has re- <br />property hereinafter described in Section 2 is <br />r required for Park purposes because of its re- <br />now not susceptible for development for Park <br />is advisable that the said described real <br />disposed of to the advantage and best interests <br />Bend and of its Park Department. <br />That the real property to be sold is immediately adjacent <br />to the western boundary of the Indiana and Michigan Electric Company <br />substation located at the intersection of Ironwood Drive and the <br />Grand Trunk Railway right of way and is more particularly described <br />as follows: <br />A parcel of land beginning at the intersecting point of the <br />South boundary line of the Grand Trunk Railway and the East <br />line of Section 7, Township 37 North, Range 3 East, Portage <br />Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, said point of beginning <br />also described as being located on the South boundary line of <br />the Grand Trunk Railway, 14 feet West of the Northwest corner <br />of Lot "H" in the Plat of Hastings, Woodward and Gray's Addition <br />to the Town of River Park, now a part of the City of South Bend; <br />
