<br /> 825,850 <br /> <br />Mr. Bodnar reported that all bids contained the appropriate bonds and affidavits. <br />Dr. Kelly made a motion to refer the bids to staff for recommendation at a special Board meeting. <br /> Mr. Mullins seconded the motion and it was passed. <br />4. Request to Approve 2009 User Fees- Susan O’Connor <br />Ms. O’Connor requested that the 2009 fee schedule be approved as presented (see <br />attached). <br />Mr. Mullins made a motion to approve the rates as presented by Ms. O’Connor. Dr. Kelly <br />seconded the motion and it was passed. <br />5. Request to Approve Change Order #2 for Leeper Tennis Center Project <br /> Mr. Carleton requested that the Board approve change order #2 for the Leeper Park <br />Tennis Center project in the amount of $1,050. <br /> Dr. Kelly made a motion that change order #2 in the amount of $1,050 be approved. Mr. <br />Mullins seconded the motion and it was approved. <br /> <br /> <br />V.Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Mr. Mullins made a motion to approve the minutes of the regular Board meeting held on May <br /> <br />19, 2008 as mailed. The motion was seconded by Dr. Kelly and approved. <br /> <br /> <br />VI.Approval of Maintenance Vouchers <br /> <br />A motion was made by Dr. Kelly to approve maintenance vouchers for totaling <br />$1,311,212.51. It was seconded by Mr. Mullins. There being no further discussion, the <br />motion was passed. <br /> <br /> <br />VII.Business of the Director <br /> <br /> <br />1.Director St. Clair reported that the Notice to Bidders for the Rum Village parcel will be <br />published on June 20 and 27. The public opening will be July 7 at 9 am at O’Brien. They <br />will be brought to the July 21 meeting for the Board’s consideration. <br /> <br />2.HOK has been approved to do an overall facility study of Coveleski stadium. There are <br />seven areas they surveyed. Their results will be presented later in the summer or early fall. <br /> He hopes they will also do a presentation at a future meeting. This study is being funded <br />by Economic Development. <br /> <br />3.The greenhouse heating project in conjunction with Notre Dame is putting in a data center <br />module that contains seven racks of servers. The heat would be used to heat the desert <br />dome in the winter and possibly the pool water at Potawatomi Pool during the summer. <br /> <br />4.The 2009 budget process is underway. There will be cuts in 2009 and more in 2010. <br />Unless there is additional funding found he expects to close some facilities in2010. He <br />asked the Board to be supportive of additional funding it the opportunity arises. <br /> <br /> - - 4 - - <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
