�r <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5349 -71 w <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,000.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND __.. <br />TO ACCOUNT T -726, "OTHER EQUIPMENT" IN THE TRAFFIC <br />DEPARTMENT, SAID ACCOUNT BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL <br />FUND. <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed <br />since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now <br />necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the <br />annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet <br />such extraordinary conditions; and <br />P <br />L` <br />O <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Traffic Depart- <br />ment to purchase materials to repair traffic signals which have been <br />damaged. Damages which have been collected have been deposited in <br />the General Fund. These funds are needed to assure the Traffic <br />Department's ability to properly perform its functions, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $3,000.00 be appropriated from <br />the General Fund to Account T -726, "Other Equipment ", in the Traffic <br />Department, within the General Fund. <br />SECTION II.
