INDIANA <br />COUNTY-CITY BUILDING <br />SOUTH BEND. ]NO. 46621 <br />AREA 219 284 -9251 <br />MEMO TO: Board of Works and Safety <br />SUBJECT: Appropriation of Funds <br />Gentlemen: <br />September 24, 1971 <br />It is requested that $3,000.00 be appropriated from the general Fund and <br />transferred to item T -726 for purchase of properties. <br />When traffic signals or signs are knocked down or damaged, they are replaced, <br />repaired or reconstructed with materials purchased from the T -726 fund. <br />Damages have been collected for these items in the amount of $3,725.58 as <br />of September 1, 1971. However the money collected was turned into the general <br />fund. <br />It is respectfully requested that consideration be given to this request since.. <br />T -726 is all but depleted and properties will have to be purchased to replace <br />those used. <br />CFH:jj <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />CLEM F.
