ORDINANCE NO. 5469 -72 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,000.00 FROM THE MOTOR <br />VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND TO MVH 13 "EXTRA AND <br />OVERTIME" AN ACCOUNT WITHIN THE MOTOR VEHICLE <br />HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT. <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed <br />since the adoption of the existing, annual budget so that it is now <br />necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual <br />budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extra- <br />ordinary conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Motor Vehicle <br />Highway Department for extra and overtime wages, and to assure that <br />department's ability to properly perform its functions; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $20,000.00 be appropriated <br />from the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund to MVH 13 "Extra and Overtime" Account <br />within the Motor Vehicle Highway Department. <br />SECTION II.
