Krueper, Jr. <br />Bureau Manager <br />TO: MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />SUBJECT: Ordinance for the Purchase of Chemicals <br />The Bureau of Water is presenting an ordinance to the Common Council <br />for the purchase of chemicals for use by the Water Works from June 1, <br />1974 to June 1, 1975 in the amount of $22,694.00. Said chemicals are <br />to be used for purification of water and additives beneficial to health. <br />Bids were let pursuant to the Statutes of the State of Indiana and were <br />found competitive. The contracts were awarded to (1.) Midwest Chlorine <br />Corporation, Chicago, Illinois, and; (2.) The Fisher -Calo Chemical 9 <br />Solvents Company, Chicago, Illinois, by the Board of Water Works Commis- <br />sioners on the 6th day of May as being the lowest and best.
