S S 8 9- 93 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS WITHIN <br />THE POLICE DEPARTMENT BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$ 3,000.00 FROM ACCOUNT P -12 "SERVICES PERSONAL" <br />TO ACCOUNT P -262 "MEDICAL,SURGICAL, AND DENTAL ", <br />BOTH ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />BUDGET OF THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA. <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed <br />since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now <br />necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual <br />budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such <br />extraordinary conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the South Bend <br />Police Department to meet expenses and to assure that Department's <br />ability to properly perform its functions; and <br />WHEREAS, a surplus exists in another account where it is <br />not presently needed, and more specifically as follows, to -wit: <br />$ 3,000.00 in Account P -12, "Services Personal ". <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the <br />City of South Bend: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $ 3,000.00 be transfered from <br />Account P -12 "Services Personal" to Account P -262 "Medical, Surgical, <br />and Dental ", both accounts being within the Police Department Budget <br />of the General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />SECTION II.
