ORDINANCE NO. S 6 a P- ? 44 <br />An Ordinance confirming the contract between the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana through its Board of Wastewater <br />Commissioners and H. DeWulf Mechanical Contractors, Inc. <br />in the amount of $161,706.00 for the construction of a <br />Soluble Oil Disposal Facility. <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend recognizes the need for a system <br />of soluble oil disposal and; <br />WHEREAS, a study was completed by the Department of Public Works, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Wastewater Commissioners, advertized for and <br />subsequently received, bids on the 17th of December, 1973 and; <br />WHEREAS, H. DeWulf Mechanical Contractors, Inc. bid of $161,706.00 was <br />considered by the Board of Wastewater Commissioners to be the lowest and best <br />bid, and; <br />WHEREAS, a contract has been tentatively awarded to H. DeWulf Mechanical <br />Contractors, Inc., and; <br />WHEREAS, there does exist an adequate balance in the Sewage Works Improve- <br />ment Fund, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana: <br />Section I. That the contract between the City of South Bend <br />through its Board of Wastewater Commissioners and <br />H. DeWulf Mechanical Contractors, Inc. for the <br />construction of a Soluble Oil Disposal Facility is <br />hereby confirmed. <br />Section II.
